Our plan was to leave Dalhousie as early as possible to avoid the mad rush on the Highway. Got some final glimpse of the snow cladded mountains and we headed straight to plains. Just before Pathankot had our breakfast and soon hit the highway towards Jalandhar. We then took the state highway towards Chandigarh, which was much more peaceful and pleasure to drive on than the main NH. Soon, we reached the Chandigarh bypass, and breeze passed the city. Post lunch we drove non-stop and were in Gurgaon by 6pm in the evening.
Will definitely be back to Kugti to do the Kugti Pass trek someday, until then.. Ciao

Thank you Aditi.. Its a lovely hamlet amongst the towering mountains. Takes a ~~6km walk easy one to village from last road head.. The famous Kugti pass trek which takes you from Kugti to Keylong starts from here.. One Day for sure..
